Overwhelmed with editing? We’ll match you with the perfect editor so you can get your time back—without losing your unique style.

(We are filling up fast - spots are limited!)

If you are ready to post consistently on YouTube but editing keeps slowing you down, you are in the right place. Creatorly Media helps YouTube creators outsource their editing so they can focus on filming, storytelling, and growing their channel. Our editors are creators themselves, so they understand pacing, audience retention, and what makes a YouTube video engaging. Whatever your upload schedule is, our goal is simple. Help you stay consistent on YouTube without spending hours inside your editing timeline.

Try Creatorly With a Trial Edit

Not sure if outsourcing your YouTube editing is the right move yet? Start with a trial edit. This allows you to experience the Creatorly workflow and work with a Creatorly editor before committing to an ongoing plan. If you are happy with the results, you can move into a bi-weekly or weekly retainer plan so your editing is taken care of, and you can post consistently every month.

A Note About Monthly Retainers

Our retainer plans reserve editing time with your dedicated editor each month. Because your editor is blocking time in their schedule specifically for your videos, unused edits do not roll over into future months. We understand that content schedules can shift, so we always do our best to help you plan your submissions in advance. This structure allows us to maintain a balanced workload for our editors while continuing to deliver consistent, high quality edits for our clients.

No matter which package feels right, you’ll get a dedicated editor who truly understands your channel and your goals. The Signature Cut is ideal if you want a clean, professional edit that keeps things simple and consistent. The Director’s Cut is for when you’re ready to lean into storytelling and give your videos that extra creative edge, like a vlog! Either way, your content will be in good hands — and ready to shine on YouTube.

Our Editing Workflow

To keep our process smooth and predictable for both creators and editors, we follow a consistent weekly workflow.

Footage Submission: Submit your footage and notes before 12:00 PM ET (noon) on your scheduled Monday submission date.

Rough Cut Review: Your rough cut will be ready for review and revisions by Thursday.

Final Delivery: Your final video, thumbnail, and YouTube description will be delivered and uploaded to your channel by end of day Friday. (Ready for you to schedule when you’d like it to go live)

This workflow allows our editors to work efficiently while ensuring every creator receives reliable turnaround times.

Scheduling Your Edits

To maintain a healthy workload for our editors and deliver reliable turnaround times, edits are scheduled in advance.

Trial Edits: Trial edits must be scheduled within the same month they are purchased.

Example: If you purchase a trial edit on June 3rd, your video must be scheduled for a Monday in June.

Retainer Packages: Retainer edits must be scheduled within the current month or the following month at the time of purchase.

Example: If you purchase a retainer in June, your edits can be scheduled in June or July.

All footage submissions are scheduled for Mondays.

Why Creatorly Editors Are Different

Most video editing services assign your video to whoever is available that week.

At Creatorly, we take a different approach.

Every creator we work with is matched with a dedicated editor who learns your style, workflow, and audience over time. This creates a smoother process and helps your videos become more consistent as your editor becomes familiar with your content.

The biggest difference is this: most of our editors are creators themselves. They run their own channels, create content online, and understand the challenges of building a presence on YouTube.

That means they do more than just edit your footage. They understand:

  • How pacing affects viewer retention

  • How to structure videos so people keep watching

  • What kinds of edits support storytelling instead of distracting from it

  • How creators actually work behind the scenes

Because they see content through both lenses, creator and editor, they are able to support your videos in a way that typical freelance editors often cannot. Our goal is not just to edit your videos. It is to help you build a YouTube workflow that allows you to publish consistently and grow your channel. You can review the full team page here!

Who Our YouTube Editing Services Are For

Creatorly is best for creators who:

  • Upload regularly or plan to upload consistently

  • Feel overwhelmed with editing and want to get their time back

  • Have a strong brand vision & need their editing to match it

  • Want to work with editors who understand creators & the YouTube style

  • Want to focus more on filming, strategy, and growing their channel

Creatorly may not be the best fit if:

  • You only upload occasionally

  • You are not ready to commit to a regular upload schedule

  • You prefer editing your own videos

  • You are looking for a one-off editing project rather than an ongoing editing partner

Our editing retainers work best for creators who are ready to publish consistently and want a long term editing partner who understands their content and workflow. If you are not quite ready for a retainer, the trial edit is a great place to start.

From One Creator to Another...

I know how hard it is to hand off editing. I’ve been there.

For years, I edited every single one of my videos because I thought no one else could match my style. I hit burnout more than once before finally handing over my footage—and I wish I’d done it sooner.

That experience inspired this service: a personalized, creator-to-creator editing match that actually feels like you.
